Anna Krzystek is a choreographer and performer based in Glasgow. She is also a core member of Helsinki based performance company Oblivia since 2000.
Anna has been diligently developing her choreographic practice since 1997. Her first two full evening works Zero Into The Void and Stripped were both commissioned by Tramway, Glasgow.
Anna was recently commissioned to present her current body of work, Test, Still and Figure This as part of New Territories 2009 in partnership with Les Halles, Brussels as part of A Space For Live Art. In 2007 she was the first recipient of the Choreographic Fellowship Award from the Scottish Arts Council.
Anna is currently developing Face On, the fourth piece in her series of solo pieces based on the premise of waiting.
