Chris Unitt is Managing Director of Meshed Media. He helps clients to develop creative digital projects and make the most of their online presence. Those clients include Bullring Birmingham, DanceXchange, sampad South Asian Arts, Apples & Snakes, and Birmingham Hippodrome.
Chris also runs the popular WestMidlandsDance.com website as well as the acclaimed Created in Birmingham, voted Best UK Blog in the 2008 Weblog Awards.
Whilst keen to keep an eye on the latest digital innovations, Chris’s main passion is for encouraging greater public engagement in arts and culture. He sees digital media as an important tool in achieving this, providing new avenues for distribution, promotion and expressing creativity.
In his spare time, Chris organises the popular, monthly Birmingham Social Media Cafe events, as well as Film Dash – the 48-hour film challenge.
