Tanja Råman+Dbini Industries was founded in 2005 by Tanja Råman and John Collingswood to create innovative interdisciplinary work. Their collaborative productions are primarily concerned with exploring the human condition. They create work that integrates expressive yet abstract movement with innovative staging, using video, light and sound to develop complex systems of interaction between performers.
In previous productions, Tanja Råman+Dbini Industries has collaborated with performer Jem Treays and vocalist Philippa Reeves. In 2009, the company was invited to create and perform a 2-hour durational piece in a disused church in Northern Spain as part of Marc Rees’ site-specific installation/performance project En Residencia.
