Director/Choreographer Will Tuckett and Producer Jacqueline Riding have formed a new company, Wildwood, to create dance/theatre with imagination, story-telling and the fantastical at its heart.

About Will Tuckett
After training at The Royal Ballet School, Will joined Sadler’s Wells Royal Ballet in 1988, transferring to The Royal Ballet in 1990. He was promoted to Principal Character Artist (2002), and became a Principal Guest Artist in 2006. He is the Creative Associate for ROH2 and is a 2008 Clore Fellow.

Numerous choreographic commissions include works for The Royal Ballet (most recently The Seven Deadly Sins), Sadler’s Wells Royal Ballet, the Clore Studio Upstairs (Faeries) and the Linbury Studio Theatre (including Wind in the Willows, Pinocchio), English National Ballet (The Canterville Ghost), Birmingham Royal Ballet, Rambert Dance Company, Dance Umbrella, BalletBlack, National Ballet of China, American Ballet Theatre’s Studio Company, Bare Bones and George Piper Dances. His work has been toured internationally and within the UK.

He has directed at the Almeida Theatre (Marianne Dreams) and for Brighton Festival (Finkelstein’s Castle) as well as directing Sondheim’s Into the Woods and Stravinsky’s The Soldiers Tale, both for ROH2.

As well as choreographing in the West End and for feature films he has also made several films for the BBC and Channel 4 as both choreographer and director, and conceived the 2006 series Ballet Hoo! Ballet Changed my Life for Birmingham Royal Ballet and Channel4. He has also choreographed for The Royal Opera, the Bregenz Festival, Opera North and Grange Park Opera.
