Funny Bones is a brand new double bill of contemporary dance choreographed by Enrique Cabrera and Luca Silvestrini (Protein), due to tour the UK from May 2010.
Enticing children and their families into a new world of dance and movement, Funny Bones is a fifty minute interactive and sensory in-the-round performance by four outstanding dancers.
These BDE performances feature one of the two pieces in this double bill – Enrique Cabrera’s DanSense. Luca Silvestrini’s work will be created in Spring 2010 ready for touring from May.
DanSense explores the five senses, and offers a stimulating interactive dance experience for young audiences featuring newly commissioned music. From costumes adorned with plastic spoons, to buckets filled with water that soaks the dancers (and the audience!), this piece is a beautifully creative piece that will have children intrigued from start to finish.
