Hip Hop Professional Streetdance Company
With the success of the Pied Piper Production, which won a Laurence Olivier Award in 2007, and performed to capacity audiences at The Barbican in March 2009 before it’s successful tour of the UK, the Company have firmly established themselves as one of the most exciting Dance Companies creating and presenting work at the cutting edge of contemporary culture.
BBE training programme involves over 150 members attending regular classes. BBE is now a Company of 30 or so, professional dancers and a youth company of approximately 40. The Company runs its training programme out of a rehearsal space in Maryland, in London Borough of Newham. On a Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday there are open classes and training sessions for young people from 8yrs to 50 yrs!
An average week sees the Company teaching over 30 hours of classes and workshops.
