COLLISION was founded in 2004 by Artistic Director Lisi Perry. This Northwest based dance company concentrates on performing and producing accessible, highly physical and original performance work throughout the community, delivering inclusive and assessable education work.
The LINE is a large-scale line of choreography, which involves up to 100 participants. It brings different people together forming a unique event of excitement and extravagance. Mixing professional and non-professional performers and with a uniquely composed musical score, The LINE can appear out of the crowd, in popular and unusual sites from football pitches to shopping parades. Audiences can stand and wait to see the event or just ‘happen’ upon it whilst out and about.
The LINE is available to tour and can be tailor made to suit specific needs. It is supported by the Liverpool Culture Company Ltd as part of the 2008 European Capital of Culture Programme.
