Northern Ballet Theatre is a touring narrative dance company whose distinctive blend of classical dance and theatre is renowned for captivating new audiences. NBT’s extensive touring schedule and its comprehensive learning and access programme demonstrates NBT’s commitment to providing opportunities for people everywhere to have access to excellence in dance performance and participation. In addition the growing NBT Academy offers classical dance training to young people and adults.
NBT and Phoenix Dance Theatre will open a new centre of excellence for dance in Leeds for dance artists, enthusiasts and audiences across the north of England in January 2011.
