PROBE is a Brighton based dancer-led dance company, formed in 2004 by Antonia Grove and Theo Clinkard. The company has produced and toured two successful full-length productions; the award-winning triple bill Have we met somewhere before? (2005) and Magpie (2008), a seven part programme featuring as many different choreographers.
Antonia Grove, now sole artistic director, will be promoting the company’s new full length production, provisionally titled Cut and Drawn. Antonia has been working in collaboration with award-winning writer Tim Crouch (National Theatre, Royal Court) and, for the research project, with theatre and dance impresarios Guy Dartnell (Lone Twin, Oogly Boogly) and Pete Shenton (New Art Club), and dancers Jane Mason and Scott Smith. Cut and Drawn is due for completion by January 2011.
PROBE will also be promoting two newly commissioned short solos by Wendy Houstoun and Charles Linehan, to be completed by May 2010.
PROBE Company Manager: Sarah Trist
Promoting PROBE at BDE 2010 will be mentor and foreign tour promoter Steven Brett
