The Cholmondeleys and the Featherstonehaughs are a contemporary dance company who create work that originates from, and contains within its form and purpose, a defiance to challenge the perceptions of dance. Intrinsic to our work is the discovery of new sites and alternatives for live performance that can equally belong in traditional theatre spaces. With a fluidity of approach the Company can embrace opportunity, collaborating across a range of art forms with a commitment to live music and highly inventive design to shape the creation of work that people want to be a part of and experience. With the knowledge that comes from 25 years of existence, we continue to develop distinctive opportunities for engagement with dance for young people, students and creative professionals.
In the Autumn of 2010 the company will be producing a Featherstonehaughs tour, the first for 12 years. This is a tour of the revival of “The Featherstonehaughs Draw on the Sketch Books of Egon Schiele” which will tour concurrently with a New Show. This will be available for touring in Autumn 2010 and Summer 2011
