XTRAX works as a strategic development agency and events producer in the outdoor performance and festivals sector. XTRAX provides support and advise for artists interested in developing work for the outdoors. At BDE we will be representing a number of strategic partners and projects including;
- Without Walls: XTRAX is a founding member of the without walls consortium, a commissioning partnership of 8 major outdoor festivals in the UK who regularly commission, develop and book outdoor dance.
- UK and international outdoor dance artists: Publicity and promotional material will be available from a number of dance companies whose outdoor work XTRAX has supported, commissioned or presented.
- Urban Moves Dance Festival: This is festival of outdoor dance in Manchester in July 23rd – 25th July 2010. XTRAX works with the organiser Dance Initiative Greater Manchester to create showcase opportunities and networking events around the festival
*_ Mintfest_: An outdoor performance showcase in Kendal 2-5th Sept 2010, which regularly programmes outdoor dance, produced by Kendal Arts International in association with Manchester International Arts
